FSUIPC7 is required for the PMDG 737 FLT ALT and LAND ALT displays to work in MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. Without it, the displays will not receive data from the simulator. The free version of FSUIPC7 is sufficient.

Step 1 — Install FSUIPC7

Download and install FSUIPC7.

During installation, make sure to select the option to create desktop shortcuts for your simulator (MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024, or both). You will use these shortcuts to launch your simulator from now on.

Important: Always launch your simulator using the FSUIPC desktop shortcut. This ensures FSUIPC is running and connected to the sim.

Step 2 — Enable PMDG Data Broadcast

For FSUIPC to communicate with the PMDG 737, you need to enable the SDK Data Broadcast in the PMDG configuration file.

Navigate to the 737_Options.ini file on your computer. The file location depends on your simulator:

  • MSFS 2020: C:\Users[YourUsername]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\pmdg-aircraft-737\work\737_Options.ini
  • MSFS 2024: C:\Users[YourUsername]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\WASM\MSFS2024\pmdg-aircraft-738\work\737_Options.ini

Note: These paths may vary depending on your installation. Replace [YourUsername] with your Windows username.

Open the 737_Options.ini file with a text editor (such as Notepad). Find or add the following section and save the file:

[SDK] 
EnableDataBroadcast=1 
EnableCDUBroadcast.0=1 
EnableCDUBroadcast.1=1

Step 3 — Launch and Verify

Launch your simulator using the FSUIPC7 desktop shortcut. Once you are in the cockpit, start MobiFlight and press Run. Your FLT ALT and LAND ALT displays should now be working.
