Rudder Pedal

This is an extremely robust piece of equipment that closely resembles the ‘real thing’.
But i came across a few things that deserve attention i think.

1. The Leo Bodnar joystick-card axes sometimes do not do what you expext them to do. I am working now with the Z-axis ( input 3 ) , the R-y axis ( input 5 ) and the R-z axis ( input 6 )
2. I have the rudder Z-axis programmed in MSFS2020, but the brake Axes in Spad. The reason is that otherwise you cannot disengage the parking brake when applying the toe-brakes.
3. In order to get full steering input with only rudder input, one has to adjust the PMDG-ini file. Steering Input = 0 . Only then will you get 78 of degrees with the rudder pedals. Alternatively you can program a tiller command to any free axis that you may have. Please then do not forget to put the Steering Input to 1.
4. It is extremely easy to make mistakes with double bindings to different peripherals,for instance brake axis, or tiller input. The more peripherals you have, the more you should watch out not to program one thing to two different pieces of hardware.
5. the dead zone and sensitivity of the rudder must be adjusted in the MSFS2020 options. Otherwise the Boeing is all over the place.

All in all, this rudder takes some getting used to, but is well worth it if you are looking for a real B737 ‘feel’ .
